Oil & Gas (Onshore – FEED & Detailed Design)
We are currently seeking an experienced
Senior Piping Design Engineer
with strong expertise in
FEED and Detailed Design
for onshore oil & gas projects.
The successful candidate will lead piping design activities, ensure quality engineering deliverables, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead piping layout development and 3D modeling activities using PDMS / E3D / SP3D
- Review and prepare piping isometrics, GA drawings, and detailed design deliverables
- Execute FEED and Detailed Engineering activities in compliance with project requirements
- Interpret and implement P&IDs, piping specifications, and client standards
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines
- Conduct model reviews, clash detection, and design optimization
- Review and validate Material Take-Offs (MTOs)
- Integrate vendor package information into design models
- Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and project specifications
- Mentor and guide junior piping designers and engineers
Software Requirements
✔ PDMS / E3D / SP3D (mandatory experience in at least one)
✔ AutoCAD
✔ Navisworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Experience & Skills
- 8–15 years of experience in piping design for Oil & Gas projects
- Proven experience in FEED and Detailed Design projects
- Strong knowledge of onshore Oil & Gas facilities
- GCC/Qatar project experience preferred
- Excellent understanding of piping layouts, routing, and design standards
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
