About This Role
Overview
We are looking for an experienced **Senior Oracle Database Administrator – L2** to join our onsite IT team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, securing, and optimizing Oracle database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability for enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle database environments
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies
- Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery processes
- Ensure database security, integrity, and availability
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions
- Perform database upgrades, migrations, and patch management
- Monitor storage utilization and capacity planning
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and development teams
- Maintain database documentation, standards, and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration
- Strong hands-on experience with **Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c** or higher
- Expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and performance tuning
- Strong knowledge of backup and recovery strategies
- Experience with database migration and patching activities
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and database monitoring tools
- Familiarity with cloud database environments is an advantage
Language Requirement
- **Arabic: Mandatory (Reading, Writing, and Speaking)**
- English proficiency required for technical and professional communication

- Experience in enterprise-scale database environments
