Senior Oracle Cloud Database Administrator

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience across on‐prem Oracle and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• 3+ years of hands‐on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Proven ability to independently own, manage, and deliver tasks and projects with minimal direction.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues autonomously.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies and applications with minimal guidance.
• Positive, solutions‐oriented “can‐do” attitude toward problem‐solving and task completion.
• Deep experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Exadata (on‐prem or cloud), Active Data Guard, performance tuning, RMAN, and OCI GoldenGate replication.
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS administration.
• Proficient in scripting using OCI CLI, Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell, and related tools.
• Expertise in backup strategies and all facets of database recovery, including simple restores and point‐in‐time recovery.
• Experience managing and supporting Very Large Databases (VLDB).
• Successful completion of the Nlets fingerprinting background assessment.

• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies and applications with minimal direction.
• Extensive experience working in team‐oriented, collaborative environments, contributing to shared goals and continuous improvement.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be locally located and comfortable working a 3 days in office hybrid model and 2 days remote.
