Role Description
The Senior Operations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day logistics and freight operations, ensuring shipments are processed accurately and on schedule across ocean, air, and road modes.
The Senior Operations Specialist will coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and customers to manage bookings, documentation, customs requirements, and adherence to service-level agreements.
Daily activities include monitoring shipment status, resolving operational issues, optimizing workflows, and identifying opportunities to improve cost, efficiency, and service quality.
The role also involves supporting implementation of operational projects, maintaining accurate data in relevant systems and platforms, and providing clear status updates and reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications
- Min of 5 Years Experience with freight forwarding, customs processes, and multi-modal transportation operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi Emirate, handle time-sensitive tasks, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with customers, vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
- Proven experience in operations management within logistics, freight forwarding, Air , Sea , And Land.
- Project management capabilities to support and lead operational initiatives, process changes, and system enhancements.
