Key Accountabilities

Generic Accountability

• Ensure that work activities are in line with Bank’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s).
• Recoveries from International Branches/Entities
• Fixed Assets Management
• Project Accounting
• Coordination with Internal & External stakeholders
• Preparation of MIS
• Contribute to continuous Process improvement
• Any other activities as assigned by the Supervisor

Job Specific Accountabilities

• Monthly reconcile recovery GL account for each international branch/entity
• Send monthly details through email to each international branch/entity SPOC within agrees timelines
• Follow-up with international branch/entity SPOC for confirmation
• Prepare fusion & T24 upload entries to debit international branch/entity account post confirmation
• Capitalization & Tagging of Fixed Assets on monthly basis
• Ensure the accuracy of asset entries processed
• Maintain CIP Asset details for tracking and capitalization.
• Do half yearly spot check of assets to ensure they are tagged.
• Maintain the Project status with WIP details for monthly review
• Follow-up with Project manager to ensure accuracy and timely closure of projects.
• Perform the capitalization of assets related to Projects.
• Proofing of GL Accounts pertaining to Recovery, FA, Projects and CIP

Responsibilities

Job context

• To perform the activities related to recovery from international branch/entities.
• To perform the activities related to fixed assets.
• To perform the activities related to Project Accounting.
• Share Monthly Asset Addition details with Asset Management Team
• Ensure QR code/Tag number is updated for all monthly additions
• Application/Asset Key is tagged for Computer/ATM Hardware & Software Assets
• Providing NBV for requested assets (Received from other departments)
• Project related Monthly resource capitalization and updating in Clarity

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related discipline.
• Exposure to Fixed Asset module in Oracle Fusion required and to Project Costing module preferred.
• Advanced user of MS Office especially Excel
• Good communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills

Minimum Experience

5 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 3 years in similar positions in the Fixed Assets function.
