Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional specializing in full-stack development with a strong focus on Node.js for backend and React.js for web applications to join our dynamic team.
As a key member of our development team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and high-performance web applications.
This position is based onsite in Abu Dhabi, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems using Node.js
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure APIs
- Build and maintain modern web applications using React.js
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features across web frontend and backend
- Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and smooth user experience across different browsers and devices
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Node.js and React.js development
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, with strong emphasis on Node.js backend and React.js for web frontend
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript
- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows, including prompt engineering basics for code generation, reviewing/validating AI-generated code, and leveraging tools beyond basic (e.g., Claude Code or advanced LLM usage)
- Experience with event-driven architecture and microservices
- Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Desired Skills (a big plus):
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization
- Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects showcasing your skills (especially React.js applications or full-stack Node.js + React work)
- Experience with state management in React (e.g., Redux, Zustand, or Context API), web-specific optimizations, and advanced frontend techniques
