Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to ship significant features across our stack.
We work primarily in TypeScript, with C# alongside it.
You don't need to be an expert in both on day one, but
you do need to be a strong enough engineer to become productive in C# quickly
if you don't already know it - if your first instinct on seeing an unfamiliar language is "I'll figure it out," that's the bar.
This position is based onsite in Abu Dhabi, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
We're looking for someone with real drive, a builder who takes initiative, raises the bar for the team, and gets genuinely excited about hard technical problems.

Responsibilities
- Design and ship significant features end to end
- Own non-trivial technical decisions, write them up clearly, and defend them
- Align with client development teams and stakeholders on integration design, sequencing, and delivery
- Set the standard on code quality and review code substantively across the team, not just your own surface area
- Mentor other engineers through pairing, design review, and direct feedback
- Participate in production incident response and post-incident analysis
- Contribute to platform-wide work
Requirements
- Experience building production systems in TypeScript/Node.js; either existing C# experience or the ability to become productive in it quickly
- Production software engineering experience in TypeScript/Node.js
- C# experience, or a strong willingness and ability to learn it
- Strong fundamentals across data structures, concurrency, and distributed-system failure modes
- Solid SQL, including indexing and query plans
- Experience operating services in production: logging, metrics, alerting, and on-call
- Confidence in code review, including pushing back constructively on senior peers
- Effective use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) with sound judgment about when to trust output and when to verify
- Strong communication skills; comfortable working across organizational boundaries and translating between technical and business framing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Desired Skills (a big plus):
- Fintech, banking, or other regulated-industry background
- Production experience with both TypeScript/Node.js and C#
- Exposure to partner- or client-driven delivery and integration work
