About This Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer with 7+ years of experience to build scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in server-side development, API design, and database management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js
  • Build RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members
  • Write clean, reusable, and efficient code
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Implement security and data protection measures
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
  • Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in backend development
  • Strong expertise in Node.js
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and asynchronous programming
  • Experience with frameworks like Express.js / NestJS
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • REST APIs & Microservices
  • Database systems (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Version control (Git)
  • Experience with authentication (JWT, OAuth)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
  • Understanding of Docker & CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Knowledge of Redis, Kafka, or message queues
  • Experience in scalable architecture and system design
  • Exposure to DevOps practices
