Role responsibilities

• Deliver Technical Support Department commitments to customers.
• Support customer satisfaction by maintaining process uptime and system performance in line with contractual agreements.
• Participate in expansion service projects during engineering, Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test, and commissioning phases as required.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Yokogawa products and carry out hardware and software upgrades.
• Participate in service department growth plans and identify opportunities to provide additional services to the installed base.
• Provide onshore or offshore support, including short- or long-duration resident site assignments, and provide on-site leadership as required.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support as assigned.
• Support service department activities as assigned by management.
• Direct on-site Yokogawa personnel in resolving system problems and performing startup and commissioning work.
• Submit weekly service reports on startup efforts, punch-list items, management assistance needs, and system-level problem resolution.

Qualifications and experience

• A degree in an engineering field is required; Control Systems, Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics is preferred.
• Preferably 5–10 years of experience in maintenance or startup of control systems.
• Experience with DCS, ESD, or SCADA systems is preferred, particularly in oil and gas, petrochemicals, and field instruments.
• OEM experience is an advantage, particularly prior Yokogawa experience.
