Role overview

Responsibilities

• Deliver Technical Support Department commitments and help maintain customer satisfaction, process uptime, and system performance under contractual agreements.
• Participate in engineering, FAT, SAT, and commissioning phases of expansion service projects.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and hardware and software upgrades for Yokogawa products.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to the installed base and support service-department growth plans.
• Provide assigned onshore, offshore, or resident-site support and direct onsite personnel resolving system problems or performing startup and commissioning.
• Submit reports to service management on startup efforts, punch-list items, assistance needs, and system-level problem resolution.

Qualifications and experience

• A degree in an engineering field is required; Control Systems, Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics is preferred.
• Five to ten years of maintenance or startup experience is preferred.
• Experience with DCS, ESD, or SCADA systems is preferred, particularly in oil and gas, petrochemicals, and field instruments.
• OEM experience, particularly prior Yokogawa experience, is an added advantage.

Skills and competencies

• Knowledge of control-system and maintenance concepts and maintenance and safety standards.
