Job purpose

Supervise and coordinate panel integration, assembly, wiring, termination, testing, inspection, and quality control.

Ensure work follows project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, quality requirements, and schedules.

Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, sourcing, stores, QC, and subcontractors.

Panel integration

  • Review customer requirements, specifications, approved drawings, standards, and bills of quantities, including those generated using ePlan and SmartDRA.
  • Review panel general-arrangement/layout drawings, wiring diagrams, termination drawings, and related documents.
  • Supervise wiring, termination, ferruling, crimping, labelling, and panel assembly.
  • Coordinate applicable continuity, insulation-resistance/megger, torque-verification, and other panel tests.
  • Work with project and QC teams on inspections, testing, technical clarifications, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Track and escalate scope deviations, material shortages, drawing discrepancies, and other integration issues.

Project coordination and execution

  • Coordinate panel-related technical discussions and execution priorities with lead and project engineers.
  • Support planning, prioritization, manpower coordination, and workload balancing across panel integration activities.
  • Monitor progress, provide weekly status reports, and report daily updates, technical issues, and execution risks.
  • Organize meetings, inspections, and walkthroughs; maintain schedule, quality-plan, and procedure compliance.
  • Ensure production tools, equipment, and resources are available and in proper condition.

Materials and procurement

  • Coordinate with the material controller and storekeeper to track inventory and ensure timely material availability.
  • Support procurement with RFQ preparation, technical evaluations, POR submissions, and purchase orders for panel materials.
  • Track shipments with the sourcing team and coordinate timely receipt to avoid interruptions to assembly and delivery.

Requirements

  • Coordinate panel integration in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, and quality requirements.
  • Review panel layouts, wiring diagrams, termination drawings, and related technical documents.
  • Coordinate testing and inspections, including continuity, insulation-resistance/megger, and torque-verification tests where applicable.
  • Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, sourcing, stores, QC, and subcontractor teams.
