Senior Network Security Lead

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead administration and optimization of Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA, and enterprise firewall environments.
• Design secure network architectures and implement segmentation, threat prevention, and security controls.
• Manage Cisco ISE and NAC solutions for secure access across corporate and operational environments.
• Develop and optimize firewall policies, access control rules, and rule-base management.
• Support Site-to-Site VPNs, Remote Access VPNs, and other secure remote access technologies.
• Maintain data center security controls and lead cloud and hybrid security initiatives.
• Monitor and respond to network threats; collaborate with security, infrastructure, and cloud teams on investigations and remediation.
• Conduct hardening, vulnerability remediation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain documentation, procedures, standards, and architecture diagrams; mentor security and network engineering teams.
• Support audits, compliance, risk assessments, and continuous security improvement; design scalable solutions for mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in enterprise network security and infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in large-scale, highly available, mission-critical environments.
