Senior Network Operations Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Monitor network systems and services, respond to alerts, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive checks.
• Document incidents, resolutions, workarounds, logs, and reports in ticketing and knowledge systems.
• Triage escalations, determine root causes, coordinate fixes, and act as technical contact during critical incidents.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams; communicate incident updates to stakeholders.
• Assist with network changes and upgrades, mentor analysts, and identify recurring issues for product improvement.
• Join on-call rotations providing 24/7 coverage for critical issues.

What the role requires

• At least 3 years of network monitoring or support experience and a solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Troubleshooting ability and experience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and incident management processes and tools.
• Analytical, communication, and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English for customer and internal stakeholder communication.
