What the Role Entails

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Design: Lead the network architecture design and operational management for global CDN and edge computing infrastructures.
• Optimization & Evolution: Drive the iterative upgrade and optimization of global edge network architectures to meet evolving business demands.
• Data Center Design: Manage the systemic design and deployment of edge data center (PoP) network facilities.
• Automation & Intelligence: Contribute to the development of automated and intelligent network O&M (Operations & Maintenance) tools to enhance operational quality and efficiency.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin with international teams preferred but not required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design for globally distributed data center network infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of Edge Data Center network architectures and CDN requirements.
• Proven track record in edge network design focused on performance improvement and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with global ISP network architectures and workflows; ability to effectively analyze, locate, and resolve complex global network issues.
• Expert-level knowledge of Routing & Switching and TCP/IP protocols.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell is preferred.
• Experience with globally distributed internet CDN providers, ISP backbone networks, or globally distributed data center architecture and operations.
• Deep understanding of large IP backbone networks and a passion for continuous technical deep-diving.

• The expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $128,700.00 to $241,600.00 per year. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
• Employees hired for this position may be eligible for a sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
• Subject to the terms and conditions of the plans in effect, hired applicants are also eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan. The Employee is also eligible for up to 15 to 25 days of vacation per year (depending on the employee’s tenure), up to 13 days of holidays throughout the calendar year, and up to 10 days of paid sick leave per year.
