Senior Mobile Software Engineer (iOS / Android), Identity & Security - India

Position Overview

What You Will Do

• Architect, build, and ship native iOS and Android features across mobile authentication, password management, and identity verification applications.
• Implement Credential Provider, Autofill, biometric authentication, hardware-backed secure storage, and OIDC/OAuth2 integrations.
• Drive Apple App Store and Google Play Store release pipelines.
• Maintain UI testing coverage using XCTest and Espresso and establish mobile end-to-end integration test suites.
• Participate in incident management, contribute to post-incident reviews, and support rapid incident resolution.
• Champion the BMAD framework for AI-assisted workflow governance.
• Mentor engineers, conduct RFC reviews, and build shared team skill libraries.

Required Technical Qualifications

• 8–12 years of professional software development experience focused primarily on native mobile app delivery.
• Expert-level proficiency in Swift or Kotlin, with strong working knowledge or willingness to work across both platforms.
• Deep understanding of App Transport Security, network security configuration, certificate pinning trade-offs, jailbreak or root detection, and cryptography best practices.
• Hands-on experience writing unit, UI, and integration tests using XCTest, Espresso, or modern end-to-end automation tools.
• Experience setting up mobile continuous integration pipelines and using crash reporting platforms for telemetry and debugging.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and OIDC client libraries into reactive mobile architectures.
• Prior experience developing enterprise security, password vault, or multi-factor authentication applications.
• Production experience with native desktop extensions or cross-platform security modules.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS and GCP cloud services is preferred.
• Experience developing backend modules using Golang or equivalent languages is preferred.

On-Call Expectation

• Engineers are expected to participate in assigned on-call shifts and respond to alerts during their shifts.

• Fluent spoken and written English is required for internal business, interviews, and additional screening.
