Role overview

Sourcing and tendering

• Develop purchasing and contract-management policies, procedures, forms, and guidelines aligned with business needs.
• Identify purchase requests and source materials and services locally or internationally based on project needs, lead times, and sourcing policies.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, and reliability in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare RFQs for HVAC, plumbing, LPG, fire protection, and electrical works.
• Compare quotations and bids on a techno-commercial basis and support tender awards.

Contracts and supplier management

• Negotiate terms, conditions, pricing, delivery schedules, and quality expectations with suppliers.
• Prepare and issue letters of award and framework agreements.
• Develop contract documents, terms, responsibility matrices, KPIs, and SLAs; monitor supplier and subcontractor performance and contract compliance.
• Maintain supplier relationships and resolve contractual issues.

Cost, delivery, and records

• Conduct cost analyses, identify savings, and monitor budgets against project costs.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory, reduce lead times, and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain procurement reports, price lists, budgets, material-submittal logs, and purchase-order logs.
• Analyze project documents and prepare material-submission strategies.
• Address supply disruptions and develop contingency plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement with project goals and deadlines.

Requirements

• Procurement work covers MEP services and materials, including HVAC, plumbing, LPG, fire protection, and electrical works.
• Evaluate suppliers and bids, negotiate contracts, manage procurement budgets, and monitor supplier performance.
• Ensure procured materials and components meet project-specific engineering, quality, and performance requirements.
• Follow applicable industry regulations, legal requirements, ethical sourcing, and sustainability initiatives.

Pay

• AED 10,000–12,000 per month.
