Job Overview

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair a broad spectrum of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, braking, electrical, suspension, steering, and exhaust components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine service tasks in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, scanners, and test equipment to identify issues and validate repairs.
• Disassemble and reassemble components, replace worn parts, and ensure proper torque specifications and alignments.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems, including CAN networks, sensors, and actuators.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and repair documentation in the maintenance system.
• Coordinate with workshop team to manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and meet repair deadlines.
• Adhere to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality control procedures at all times.
• Provide on-the-job mentoring and training to junior technicians and apprentices as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma (3 years) in Automotive Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with a proven track record in diagnostic and repair work.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and industry best practices.
• Proficiency with diagnostic scanning tools, multimeters, torque wrenches, airmometers, and standard shop equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical bulletins.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Eligibility to work in Qatar and willingness to comply with local regulations and company policies.
