Overview
- Supervise and monitor the mechanical aspects of construction works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities with the contractor, reporting progress, risks, and issues to the Resident Engineer and Project Management team.
- Review and approve method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, and as built documentation.
- Lead a team of engineers and inspectors; delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure timely completion of inspections and site-related tasks.
- Participate in progress and coordination meetings; contribute technical expertise and ensure resolution of site issues.
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control processes are implemented and followed throughout the mechanical works.
- Support testing and commissioning activities, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and operated in accordance with project specifications.
- Maintain clear documentation of site activities, issues, and resolutions.
- Ensure all safety protocols and site regulations are strictly followed.
