Senior Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to independently deliver complex mechanical engineering scopes with minimal supervision
• Strong first-principles engineering capability across materials handling, bulk solids flow, rotating equipment, fluid systems, and fixed plant infrastructure
• Deep understanding of underground hard rock mining operations and the practical constraints associated with designing for confined, remote, and high-risk environments
• Strong technical capability in conveyor design, transfer chute design, and bulk materials handling systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary project teams;
• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering recognised in Australia - Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or working toward chartership highly regarded
• Minimum 8–12 years of mechanical engineering experience.
