Role Overview
Yamama Cement is seeking a Senior Mechanic to perform mechanical maintenance work on production units and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance under approved policies and procedures.
- Monitor production unit performance and report observations affecting equipment efficiency.
- Identify required maintenance tools and equipment and assess their readiness.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to maintain continuous equipment availability.
- Organize, store, and maintain tools in designated locations.
- Dispose of maintenance waste properly.
- Perform welding, cutting, and refurbishment of replaced mechanical parts.
- Verify permits and lockout/tagout forms before starting work.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
