Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance under approved policies and procedures.
- Monitor production units and report observations affecting equipment efficiency.
- Identify required maintenance tools and equipment and assess their readiness.
- Organize, store, and maintain tools in designated locations.
- Dispose of maintenance waste properly.
- Perform mechanical repairs including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts.
- Verify required work permits and lockout/tagout forms before starting work.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
Work Environment
- The role involves mechanical maintenance of production units and equipment.
Requirements
- Experience performing routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to carry out mechanical repairs including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts.
- Knowledge of work permits and lockout/tagout safety procedures.
- Ability to monitor production equipment performance and identify issues affecting efficiency.
- Experience maintaining and organizing maintenance tools and equipment.
