Senior Materialsman

Provide the necessary support to Materials Team Lead, Receiving Team Lead and Senior Materialsman in all warehouse disciplines such as Receiving, Issues, Recovery, Projects, and Drilling operations.

Designated to carry out all duties during the Senior Materialman’s absence.

Provide overall assistance in the binning, transfer, storage, and issuance of materials.

Ensure that all activities carried out in the base are as per the Health, Safety, Environment and Operational Integrity (HSEOI) policies & procedures.

Maintain the whole facility in an environmentally friendly manner and in compliance with the company processes and procedures.

Assist in the inspection and processing of new materials (international / local), issuing goods against Desktop Transfer Requisitions, Move Orders or Work Orders in Oracle for offshore, onshore, projects and drilling.

Assist to Inventory Planning and Cataloguing Coordinator with periodic inspections of stock materials.

Process and issue the relevant Desktop Transfer Requisitions, Move Orders and Work Orders in Oracle of all outgoing materials to Offshore/Onshore, Projects, the Drilling Rigs, Workshops, and the Main Office building.

Download the outstanding Issues Report and dispatches materials as per the required date.

Perform the packaging and shipment of materials to Offshore in appropriate Cargo Carrying Units (CCU).

Lead the physical count of materials and equipment stored in Vendor Facilities with the support of Inventory Planning and Cataloguing Coordinator.

Follow the Health, Safety, Environment and Operational Integrity (HSEOI) policies and procedures regarding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), chemicals, radioactive materials, Task Risk Assessments (TRA) and Permit to Work (PTW).

Report all incidents, near misses and potential safety hazards to the Materials Team Lead and assists in incident investigation, analysis and recommendations to avoid recurrences

8 years’ experience in Warehouse operations in the Oil and Gas industry.

Ability to manage, supervise and train contractors hence maintaining a good

level of efficiency and professionalism.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sound knowledge of Oracle.

Good analytical skills, prompt decision making.

Ability to perform and work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal skills especially when dealing with (but not limited to) vendors, Procurement team, offshore contacts, and the freight forwarders.

Valid United Arab Emirates (UAE) Driving License.
