Responsibilities
- Review and approve material submittals, mix designs, and samples in compliance with QCS and Ashghal standards.
- Supervise on‑site and off‑site materials testing and review laboratory results.
- Ensure all construction materials meet project specifications and quality requirements.
- Identify non‑conforming materials and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Conduct site inspections related to material usage, storage, and compliance.
- Coordinate with contractors, laboratories, and the supervision team on materials issues.
- Maintain materials documentation, approvals, and quality records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 12–15 years of professional experience in materials engineering, preferably on Ashghal infrastructure or roads projects in Qatar.
- Strong knowledge of QCS, Ashghal standards, and materials testing procedures.
- Proven experience working with engineering consultancies on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
- MMUP/UPDA registration is mandatory
- Membership in a recognized professional engineering body is an advantage.
