Senior Manager - International Supply Chain & Sourcing- EMEAI

About This Role

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

This position will act as the strategic leader for franchisees, internal Inspire teams and suppliers for EMEAI sourcing network design and execution for food menu items, ingredients and packaging. Additionally, the position will develop and implement strategic sourcing and supply chain strategies to promote profitable restaurant growth and create efficiencies for the complete portfolio of Inspire Brands in the assigned region

SUMMARY

Responsible for leading the team that manages strategic sourcing and supply chain solutions for the EMEAI region across all Inspire International brands. Position will strive to identify cost-savings opportunities for franchisees and increase revenue for Inspire Brands by scaling regional and global strategic sourcing and supply solutions. Executing and maintaining supplier agreements, as well as managing supplier performance and pricing will also be required. Solutions will bring value to existing franchisees while also utilizing and creating a leverageable network to support further international growth through new market openings. This position will be based in our Dubai office to effectively lead and influence suppliers, franchisees, and regional partners across EMEAI.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and implement regional supply chain strategies that drive value for the franchisees and revenue for Inspire Brands across EMEAI. Build the necessary supplier relationships and own the implementation, outcomes and ongoing management of the supplier network.

• Through an understanding of Inspire Brands’ core proprietary products, create opportunities to leverage local, regional and global supplier relationships.
• Present strategic supply opportunities and gain buy-in from internal stakeholders, suppliers and franchisees. Ensure that all parties are aligned and invested in the outcome. Drive the implementation and achieve the aligned goals.
• Provide regional strategic sourcing direction for new market entry and new menu items for all brands in the EMEAI region. Align with stakeholders and maintain alignment through thoughtful communication.
• Develop, execute and manage regional strategic supplier relationships and supply agreements for core products.
• Oversee collections and reporting of regional supplier revenues across EMEAI.

Lead a high-performing, regional supply chain team that assures supply of competitively priced core products across EMEAI.

• Guide, support and grow the regional supply chain team to set and achieve motivational annual goals.
• Prioritize team members’ work to ensure that it is compatible with the capacity of the supporting cross-functional teams.
• Support team members to actively interface with regional franchisees and supplier/distribution partners regarding product importation, product availability, pricing, product changes, and other supply and logistics related activities.
• Support team members with executing regional purchasing strategies and communicating progress and results to stakeholders.
• Ensure clear accountabilities within team, avoid confusion, and allow others to shine for their contributions.

Lead regional New Market Entry supply chain strategy and support across EMEAI.

• Provide regional strategic sourcing direction for new market entry by identifying and implementing the right sourcing solutions (suppliers and products) to meet the menu needs with safe, compliant products at competitive costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members for product approval alignment (Marketing, Culinary, Operations, & Food Safety). Bring others to the table.
• Enable and support new franchisees to open markets with the needed products in the planned timeframe and at the targeted cost.
• Utilize presence in Dubai to ensure quick response times and alignment with regional stakeholders supporting new market openings across EMEAI.

Minimize risk of supply disruption & sustainability compliance across EMEAI

• Identify supply and supplier issues. Analyze information to assess root cause, improvement opportunities, and associated risk.
• Identify sustainability compliance risks and options to address. Develop solutions and gain consensus to resolve supply issues.
• Identify secondary supplier opportunities to support contingency supply.

Data Management & Supply Chain Market Profile

• Maintain accurate pricing and usage information from regional suppliers and distributors of core products across EMEAI.
• Monitor and report supplier and distributor performance as it relates to their Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
• Obtain regular product consumption data for core products by market.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum: 4+ yrs Degree

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION

*Minimum:*8+ yrs experience

Preferred: 10+ years in supply chain and procurement in food industry. Ideal candidate will also have experience in managing multi-country supply chains with strong grasp of sourcing and importing/exporting procedures in-region. Including experience managing and developing high performing teams.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

• Fluent in English
• Restaurant / Food Service/ Protein industry experience required
• Financial analysis skills
• Experience in procurement and negotiation strategies
• Understand and function effectively in a matrix team environment
• Experience managing and developing people and leading teams
• Strong interpersonal skills. Proven track record of success in leading and influencing franchisee and other non-reporting relationships
• Product development or manufacturing experience a plus.
• Analytical & problem-solving skills

TRAVEL REQUIRED

Approximately 25%- Travel required in assigned markets and region, and to USA as needed for corporate interface. Travel requirements may be more or less in any period based upon initiatives and needs.
