Senior Manager, Global Safety & Security
Role Overview
Astera Labs is seeking a strategic, highly experienced Senior Manager of Global Safety & Security to build and lead a world-class corporate security program that protects our
employees, facilities, executives, intellectual property, and business operations worldwide.
This leader will be responsible for developing and scaling Astera Labs' global safety and security strategy, including physical security, executive protection, global security
operations, travel risk management, duty of care programs, crisis management, incident response, security technology, and GSOC operations.
The role requires strong crossfunctional leadership and close partnership with HR, Legal, Facilities, IT, Travel, Communications, and Executive Leadership.
The ideal candidate combines deep operational security expertise with exceptional leadership skills, enabling the company to proactively manage risk while supporting a
safe, productive, and employee-focused workplace culture.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business, Emergency Management, Risk Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive corporate security experience.
- 5+ years leading global security programs within a multinational technology company.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPP, PSP, PCI, CFE, or similar industry certifications

- Compensation
- The estimated base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $230,000 USD annually. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, location, and skills. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits programs consistent with Astera Labs compensation practices.
