Overview
Serve as the IT liaison for Finance and HR, leading the management of Oracle Fusion ERP (Finance & HCM modules) and related IT projects and change requests.
Ensure optimal configuration, seamless integration, and reliable support to enable finance transformation, automated reporting, integrated business processes, and efficient HR operations while driving continuous system improvements.
1. Strategy, Policies & Procedures
- Lead the Oracle Fusion ERP strategy (Finance & HCM), ensuring alignment with digital transformation and operating model requirements.
- Drive centralization and standardization of Finance and HR systems across entities.
- Establish ERP governance frameworks, including data standards, access controls, and compliance.
- Enhance business processes through automation, improved workflows, and system capabilities.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
2. Systems Management & Optimization
- Lead configuration and optimization of Oracle Fusion ERP (Finance & HCM modules).
- Manage Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Intercompany.
- Oversee HCM modules including Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, Time & Labor, and Talent Management.
- Lead ERP reconfiguration for multi-entity structures, including chart of accounts and reporting hierarchies.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements with minimal disruption.
- Lead ERP-related projects including integrations, reporting automation, and payroll enhancements.
3. Integration & Data Management
- Manage integrations between ERP and operational systems to automate financial and HR processes.
- Ensure payroll configuration aligns with UAE labor law and regulatory requirements.
- Automate payroll-finance integration, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Maintain high data integrity and governance across Finance and HR systems.
4. Application Support
- Oversee ERP support services, ensuring timely issue resolution and adherence to SLAs.
- Act as the key liaison between Finance, HR, and IT for system-related matters.
5. User Enablement & Documentation
- Develop and maintain system documentation, process maps, and training materials.
- Lead user training and change management initiatives to drive adoption and efficiency.
6. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with UAE payroll regulations, corporate tax, VAT, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain proper system controls, security roles, and segregation of duties.
7. Reporting
- Deliver integrated reporting across Finance and HR, supporting strategic decision-making.
8. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for Finance, HR, and IT stakeholders.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure seamless system integration and reporting alignment.
9. Talent Management
- Lead and develop the team, ensuring high performance and alignment with strategic objectives.
10. Additional Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
Experience
- 8–10 years of ERP functional experience with strong exposure to Finance and HCM modules.
- Proven experience in ERP implementations or reconfigurations in multi-entity environments.
- Strong knowledge of finance processes (record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash) and HR processes (hire-to-retire, payroll).
- Experience with system integrations and regulatory compliance within the UAE.
- Experience in logistics, postal, or government-related sectors is preferred.
