Senior Manager – Corporate Tax

About This Role

HLB HAMT is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager – Corporate Tax to lead and strengthen our tax practice in the UAE. This is a leadership role ideal for professionals with strong technical expertise and a proven ability to manage complex tax engagements and client relationships.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Lead Corporate Tax Engagements: Manage end-to-end tax advisory and compliance assignments across multiple clients
• Review Tax Deliverables: Oversee tax computations, returns, and reports to ensure accuracy and quality
• Provide Technical Expertise: Advise clients on UAE Corporate Tax regulations and practical implications
• Client Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Tax Planning & Structuring: Identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficient structuring
• Team Leadership & Development: Mentor, guide, and develop team members to enhance performance
• Business Development: Support proposals, client pitches, and identify new business opportunities
• Regulatory Monitoring: Track changes in tax laws and assess impact on client engagements
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards

✅ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional qualification such as ACCA / CA / CPA (mandatory or highly preferred)
• Minimum 10–12 years of experience in Corporate Tax, preferably within a Big 4 or reputable consulting firm
• Strong and up-to-date knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax laws and FTA regulations
• Proven experience in managing large client portfolios and leading teams
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to contribute to business growth
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
