Senior Machine Learning Engineer - NLP (Bangalore/Noida Location)

Role Overview

What You Will Do

• Solve NLP problems involving voice agents, agentic applications, text classification, entity extraction, and summarization.
• Integrate and upgrade AI solutions with cross-functional product teams.
• Optimize machine learning models for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Implement and evaluate agent reasoning, planning, and memory modules.
• Build, deploy, own, monitor, and continually improve scalable production NLP pipelines.
• Define evaluation metrics and benchmarks, and apply state-of-the-art model architectures and inference optimizations.

Required Qualifications

• B.Tech, M.Tech, or PhD in computer science, mathematics, or a related field from a tier-1 engineering institute.
• 3+ years of industry experience in machine learning and NLP.
• Strong Python and PyTorch coding skills, with familiarity with Transformers and LangChain or LangGraph.
• Practical experience across NLP tasks such as classification, entity tagging, retrieval, question answering, generation, or clustering.
• Hands-on transformer language-model experience, LLM training knowledge, inference optimization, GPU familiarity, and production deployment experience.
• Experience deploying ML and deep learning models using REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred and Bonus Skills

• Cloud platform and ML service knowledge across AWS, Azure, or GCP is desirable.
• Multimodal model knowledge and real-time streaming tools or architectures such as Kafka and Pub/Sub are a plus.
• Bonus experience includes open-source LLMs, vector search, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases, retrieval pipelines, and AI side projects or GitHub contributions.
