Senior Logistics Analyst

Role overview

Essential responsibilities

• Control goods, services, and information flow from origin through customer delivery.
• Execute and improve replenishment, data interchange, demand management, and electronic data systems processes.
• Build strategic customer relationships through logistics initiatives and use industry insights to improve competitive position.
• Support maintenance planning, supply support, packing, handling, transportation, and training.
• Document ships, systems, and equipment status through configuration management.
• Coordinate materials and logistics with shipyards, OEMs, and subcontractors for ship alteration, repair, and overhaul work packages.

Minimum qualifications

• Six years of logistics planning and execution experience supporting a naval surface or undersea program or project office.
• Experience includes maintenance planning, supply support, packing, handling and transportation, and training.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance; must be a U.S. citizen eligible for clearance.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally, including extended stays for overseas customer engagements.
• Able to obtain and maintain base access and a CAC card.
• Knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards, and ability to develop solutions to moderately complex problems.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or business-related field preferred.
• Foreign Military Sales experience is highly desirable.

Compensation

• Anticipated salary range is $54,472 to $77,818 per year.

Travel

• Travel requirement is 26–50%, including domestic and international travel.
