Senior Legal Specialist I

Job Purpose

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on legal, regulatory, and governance matters related to the Hospital’s operations and activities.
• Draft, review, and prepare contracts, agreements, policies, regulations, correspondence, and legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and governance requirements.
• Review and analyze legal cases, disputes, and matters, and provide legal opinions and recommendations accordingly.
• Participate in committees, investigations, grievances, complaints, claims, and related proceedings.
• Contribute to strengthening compliance and governance practices and provide legal support to the Hospital’s departments and units.
• Coordinate with regulatory, oversight, and relevant authorities on legal and regulatory matters.
• Contribute to the review of agreements, memoranda of understanding, and cooperation matters with relevant local and international entities.
• Review administrative policies and procedures and provide recommendations for amendments and improvements where appropriate.
• Support dispute resolution, litigation, arbitration, and court-related matters as needed.
• Respects patients and their families to promote a patient-centered care culture.
• Participates in, and supports, quality improving and patient safety activates as an individual or as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
• **Job Qualifications and Experience:**
• **Minimum or Required:** Bachelor’s degree in Law from an accredited university, or Bachelor’s degree in Sharia with Diploma in Law/Advocacy from an accredited institution. with 8 years of experience in a Healthcare sitting.
• **Preferred:** Master degree in law from an accredited university. with 6 years of experience in a Healthcare sitting.
