Senior/Lead SailPoint Developer

Role overview

IdentityIQ development and onboarding

• Design, customize, develop, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ across the development lifecycle.
• Configure applications, connectors, identities, roles, certifications, lifecycle events, workflows, policies, rules, reports, forms, and provisioning processes.
• Develop rules, workflows, and custom functionality with Java, BeanShell, XML, JSON, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and SailPoint APIs.
• Lead application onboarding across directories, databases, web services, SAP, HR systems, SaaS platforms, and custom connectors.

Identity lifecycle and support

• Configure identity/account aggregation and correlation, identity refresh, reconciliation, approvals, provisioning, deprovisioning, escalations, and exception handling.
• Implement Joiner-Mover-Leaver, rehire, contractor, and extended identity-lifecycle scenarios.
• Troubleshoot connector, workflow, rule, provisioning, certification, integration, and performance issues.
• Support migrations, releases, upgrades, patches, production incidents, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation.

Identity Security Cloud and migration

• Configure and support ISC sources, identity profiles, attribute mappings, transforms, lifecycle states, access profiles, roles, workflows, certifications, access requests, and provisioning.
• Support cloud onboarding, connectivity, identity correlation, Virtual Appliances, APIs, event triggers, aggregation, and provisioning troubleshooting.
• Assess IIQ applications, roles, lifecycle events, rules, and workflows for migration; identify customizations requiring redesign or replacement.
• Promote maintainable ISC-native configuration and minimize unnecessary customization.

Governance and security

• Design and support Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes, birthright access, RBAC/ABAC, access requests, reviews, and Segregation of Duties controls.
• Configure manager, application-owner, entitlement-owner, role-membership, targeted, and event-based certifications.
• Support least privilege, auditability, access traceability, compliance controls, orphan-account management, and identity/account correlation standards.
• Collaborate with application owners, IAM architects, security and infrastructure teams, testers, and business stakeholders.

Technical delivery

• Participate in solution design, estimation, code/configuration reviews, sprint planning, and technical risk management.

Experience and capabilities

• The role header specifies 6+ years of experience; the job summary specifies 8+ years of overall IT/IAM experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in both SailPoint IdentityIQ and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud is sought.
• The role requires development, configuration, integration, and application-onboarding experience, plus technical leadership, stakeholder communication, and mentoring ability.
