Senior Landscape Architect - Abu Dhabi

Role overview

Primary activities

• Manage multiple small- to medium-sized landscape design projects from concept to construction, coordinating project stages and aspects.
• Organise daily design, production, and documentation work and coordinate contract administration.
• Ensure deliverables comply with technical and contractual project terms.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and consultants; prepare reports and presentations and attend meetings.
• Follow QA/QC procedures and obtain approvals through design development and drawing/documentation production.
• Assist with post-tender contract administration, coordinating contractors and client representatives.

Technical competencies

• Manage landscape projects of varying complexity, size, and value; lead project architects and designers to create functional, sustainable, manageable landscapes.
• Review work by other engineers and disciplines and interpret technical drawings, specifications, reports, proposals, contracts, and tender documents.
• Required software skills: AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, Revit, or Rhino is an added advantage.

Position requirements

• University degree, post-graduation, or equivalent in landscape architecture or architecture.
• At least 7 years' experience on sizeable landscape design projects.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.
• CMLI or equivalent is preferred.
