Senior Kart Racing Mechanic

We are seeking a highly experienced

to take a leading technical role within a competitive karting performance and development program based in Abu Dhabi.

This position goes beyond standard mechanical preparation.

The successful candidate will act as a technical lead trackside and in the workshop, responsible for ensuring absolute reliability, performance optimization, and race-winning preparation across all karting categories, including Bambino, Micro, Mini, Junior, and Senior.

The role requires deep expertise in competitive karting environments, advanced mechanical intuition, and proven experience supporting high-performance drivers in race-winning conditions.

· Lead mechanical preparation, build quality, and performance optimization for all karts across multiple categories.

· Oversee trackside engineering operations during testing, qualifying, and race weekends, ensuring peak performance delivery under pressure.

· Provide advanced setup direction including chassis geometry, weight distribution, and dynamic adjustments based on circuit conditions.

· Act as technical authority on IAME and ROTAX engine platforms, including rebuilds, tuning, diagnostics, and performance calibration.

· Supervise and support junior mechanics where applicable, ensuring consistency of standards and workflow efficiency.

· Interpret driver feedback and translate it into precise mechanical and setup adjustments.

· Maintain full technical readiness of fleet equipment.

· Ensure compliance with FIA Karting regulations and event technical scrutineering requirements.

· Manage critical spares strategy, workshop and store standards, and technical documentation.

· Contribute to performance development strategy in collaboration with coaching and engineering staff.

· Prefer incumbent to be based out of Abu Dhabi

· Minimum extensive experience in competitive kart racing environments at national and/or international level.

· Deep operational knowledge of all UAE karting circuits and their performance characteristics.

· Expert-level experience with IAME and ROTAX engine systems, including rebuilds and race tuning.

· Valid UAE driving license is an advantage (Category 3) / (Category 5)

· Proven leadership in high-performance motorsport environments.

· Strong ability to perform under pressure with zero-compromise attention to detail.
