About the Company
The Group Securities is an investment organization and brokerage firm serving investors through stock exchange and investment services.
The company provides brokerage, margin trading, liquidity provision, and related investment services in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Architect solutions with emphasis on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Write unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and establish development best practices.
- Contribute to microservices architecture and design decisions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, planning, and estimation.
Qualifications
- Require 7 or more years of professional Java development experience.
- Require strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Require knowledge of RESTful API design, Java 17 or later, multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming.
- Require knowledge of OOP, SOLID, DDD, software design patterns, and enterprise application development.
- Require experience with Maven or Gradle, unit testing, integration testing, Git, and collaborative development.
- Require knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or container-based development is listed as an additional qualification.
- Require strong problem-solving and communication skills.
