The employer seeks a Senior Java Developer with Spring Boot and microservices experience.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code following best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing systems and improve performance.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold development standards.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
- Track industry trends and technologies relevant to application performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues, if applicable.
Skills and qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Java 8 or above and experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services; ORM experience with Hibernate or JPA.
- Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Microservices architecture knowledge is a plus; front-end experience with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science; a master's degree is preferred. Relevant professional certifications are mentioned.
- Problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration abilities; ability to work in an agile development environment.
