The full-time, on-site role is based in Dubai and covers market risk across trading and banking book activities.
The role supports adherence to internal risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, measure, and report market risk exposures across trading and banking book activities.
- Perform risk analysis, stress testing, scenario analysis, and counterparty risk assessment.
- Collaborate with trading, treasury, finance, and compliance teams on risk policies, limits, and methodologies.
- Prepare regular risk reports and presentations for senior management.
- Recommend risk mitigation strategies and contribute to risk systems and tools improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in market risk measurement, monitoring, and reporting; experience with trading activities and related products.
- Solid finance background, including banking products, valuation, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in stress testing and scenario analysis for market and liquidity risk; knowledge of counterparty risk and exposure management.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience in market risk or related risk management within banking or financial services.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and risk analytics tools; Python, R, or SQL familiarity is an advantage.
- Effective communication, integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and across teams.
Work arrangement
- Full-time and on-site in Dubai.
