Role overview

Systems and infrastructure responsibilities

• Plan and implement projects to improve the desktop environment and deliver agreed tasks on time and to quality standards.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Office 365, Active Directory, IIS, Windows Server, and related applications.
• Configure cloud management applications for providers such as AWS, O365, Azure, or VMware.
• Resolve service-desk escalations within service-level targets and implement controlled changes to reduce service disruption.
• Research desktop technologies; conduct feasibility studies, business analysis, and corporate system specification development.
• Develop performance standards and recommendations, and conduct capacity planning reviews.
• Assist with VMware/Hyper-V upgrades and physical server virtualization.
• Administer IIS and firewalls; document processes and procedures; coordinate project work and resolve user issues.
• Train technical staff and users, perform root cause analysis, monitor systems and logs, and maintain backup and recovery operations.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
• At least 8 years of working experience, including 5 years of relevant experience.
• Two years of GCC experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of application techniques, programming languages, operating systems, complex technical data analysis, and project management techniques.
• ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, is stated as a requirement.
