We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Solutions Architect to join our technology team in Lahore.

This is an internal role focused on designing, standardising, and overseeing the architecture of our systems and platforms.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams and leadership to translate business needs into robust, scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and own the solution architecture for internal platforms, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into clear technical designs and documentation.
  • Define and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and best practices across teams.
  • Lead technology evaluation and selection, including frameworks, cloud services, databases, and integration approaches.
  • Review designs and code to ensure scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Oversee non-functional requirements such as performance, security, observability, and disaster recovery.
  • Design integration strategies across internal systems and third-party services.
  • Mentor and guide engineering team members on technical matters.
  • Collaborate with leadership on technology roadmap and planning, and assess technical risk.
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in an architecture or technical lead role.
  • Strong, demonstrable expertise across the full technology stack.
  • Solid experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, API design, and integration patterns.
  • Strong database design skills across relational and non-relational systems.
  • Good knowledge of security principles, authentication and authorisation patterns, and data protection.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Relevant cloud architecture certifications.
