Team and role

Responsibilities

• Build StoreKit in-app purchase flows and ship A/B experiments.
• Partner with backend, web, and Android engineers on shared subscription systems.
• Improve stability, reduce technical debt, and mentor engineers.

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years shipping public iOS apps, including consumer apps at scale.
• Strong Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit experience; comfort with Objective-C codebases.
• Experience with StoreKit in-app purchases or subscriptions and applicable App Store rules.
• Experience designing, building, and consuming APIs; GraphQL is a plus.
• Track record addressing technical debt and migrating code while maintaining delivery.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead technical initiatives collaboratively.

Technical skills

• Primary: Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit; secondary: Objective-C.
• Payments: StoreKit, StoreKit 2, and App Store subscriptions.
• Testing: XCTest and XCUITest or similar; APIs: REST, JSON, and GraphQL.
• Tooling: Xcode, Git, and iOS CI/CD.

Nice to have

• Subscription, payment, or retention experience, including paywalls, trials, cancellation and save flows, or win-back.
• Experimentation platforms such as Statsig and product analytics.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, REST, Ruby on Rails, Auth0, or similar technologies.
