Job description
Oversee instrumentation and control engineering deliverables developed by the EPC contractor, ensuring they meet project requirements and international standards.
Responsibilities
- Review instrument datasheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, and control logic narratives.
- Validate integration between DCS, ESD, and fire and gas systems and field instruments.
- Evaluate vendor submittals, FAT procedures, and technical deviations.
- Participate in design reviews and ensure control systems are operable and maintainable.
- Support field verification, loop checks, and commissioning.
- Assure compliance with project HSE and control system standards.
Required experience and education
- Twelve years of experience, including six years in instrumentation and control engineering for major oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
- DCS experience is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
