Job Description
Oversee instrumentation and control engineering deliverables developed by the EPC contractor.
Ensure deliverables comply with project requirements and international ISA and IEC standards.
Responsibilities
- Review instrument datasheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, and control logic narratives.
- Validate integration between DCS, ESD, fire and gas systems, and field instruments.
- Evaluate vendor submittals, FAT procedures, and technical deviations.
- Participate in design reviews and ensure control-system operability and maintainability.
- Support field verification, loop checks, and commissioning activities.
- Assure compliance with project HSE and control-system standards.
Required Experience
- Twelve years of experience are required, including six years in instrumentation and control engineering for major oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
- DCS experience is required.
Education
- A bachelor's degree is required in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
