BillingPlatform is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to guide customers through their implementation lifecycle.
The role leads customer-facing sessions, gathers business requirements, designs solutions, configures the platform, and communicates status and risks.
The position is remote in the United Kingdom, with customer travel of up to 25%.
Customer engagement and analysis
- Lead client sessions to gather, validate, and refine business requirements.
- Drive process redesign aligned with industry best practices and BillingPlatform standards.
- Document current and future process flows and maintain traceability to requirements and system design.
Solution design and delivery
- Translate requirements into BillingPlatform system designs, configurations, and workflows.
- Configure, test, and evaluate applications for quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Identify gaps and recommend solutions or product enhancements; support data migration, mapping, and validation.
- Coordinate with project managers, solution architects, consultants, and offshore configuration teams to meet delivery commitments.
- Escalate and resolve risks, issues, and design challenges with Product and Engineering.
Enablement and adoption
- Advise clients on billing expertise and best practices, aligning solutions with long-term adoption goals.
- Deliver tailored training, lead demonstrations and user acceptance testing, and help clients adopt new processes and capabilities.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 6 years of experience in Business Systems, IT, or Consulting; quote-to-cash and billing ecosystem experience is ideal.
- Strong functional expertise in billing, invoicing, monetisation, and revenue recognition.
- Hands-on SaaS implementation experience with business analysis and configuration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, integration patterns, reporting tools, and cloud integration methods.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organisation, troubleshooting, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Able to manage priorities independently, learn new processes and technologies quickly, and travel up to 25% for customer engagements.
Compensation
- Salary is £100,000–£120,000 per annum.
