Senior HSE Engineer for an offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi.
The position leads HSE work across offshore project phases.
Required qualification and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, or Environmental Sciences.
- Minimum 15–18+ years of experience, including at least 5 years of significant offshore project experience.
- Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response.
Preferred credentials and background
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certifications are preferred.
- PMC/EPC background is preferred; previous ADNOC Offshore experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead offshore project HSE aspects, compliance, and safety culture.
- Develop HSE plans, procedures, and risk management strategies; conduct HAZID, risk assessments, and safety studies.
- Supervise HSE activities during offshore construction, installation, and commissioning.
- Organize induction, training, and competency programs; coordinate with construction, mechanical, electrical, and marine teams.
- Develop emergency response plans, lead drills, and evaluate response procedures.
- Prepare performance reports, KPIs, and dashboards; maintain audit, inspection, and incident investigation records.

- The project is based in Abu Dhabi and concerns offshore work.
