Position description

Senior technology leadership role defining, designing, and governing end-to-end HRSD solutions across the organization.

Leads HRSD platform architecture and technical direction to support HR objectives and enterprise standards for scalability, security, performance, integration, and maintainability.

Works with HR leaders and process owners, analysts, enterprise architects, technical leads, developers, integration, security and data teams, and implementation partners.

Designs and governs secure, scalable, integrated, user-centric solutions to modernize HR service delivery, improve employee experience, and increase operational efficiency.

Role scope

  • Own end-to-end technical architecture for HRSD initiatives and major enhancements; define current-state, target-state, and transition architecture.
  • Align HR strategy and processes with enterprise architecture and technology solutions; lead decisions for ServiceNow HRSD and related HR platforms.
  • Define integration strategies across HRSD, HRIS, payroll, identity management, enterprise applications, and third-party systems.
  • Establish technical standards, reusable architecture patterns, and governance principles.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, highly available, upgradeable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Guide delivery teams; review and approve solution designs, integrations, configurations, and implementations.
  • Identify automation, self-service, AI, and digital transformation opportunities; minimize unnecessary customization and favor standard platform capabilities.
  • Support strategic technology planning, platform roadmaps, and continuous improvement.

Role requirements

  • Requires strong HR domain knowledge, ServiceNow HRSD expertise, solution and integration architecture, security, and technical leadership.
  • Expected to provide strategic guidance while remaining hands-on enough to challenge designs, resolve complex architectural issues, and guide delivery teams.
