Role overview
Administer, configure and maintain Workday and supporting HR technology, delivering global technical service to managers and employees.
Support day-to-day operations as well as change and release management; report to the Global HRIS Team Lead in the UK.
Key accountabilities
- Configure Workday modules, support users and partner with HR on system projects and changes.
- Improve HR systems through automation and process improvement; analyze requirements and document use cases, stories and specifications.
- Plan and execute software testing and coordinate controlled, documented configuration changes.
- Plan projects, communicate progress and risks, assess Workday releases and maintain the functional roadmap.
- Support system integrations, complex data manipulation, employee guidance, training and stakeholder engagement.
- Mentor HRIS analysts, support ad hoc projects, maintain confidentiality and meet compliance requirements.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Strong Workday HCM knowledge, with good knowledge of Recruiting and other modules; prior experience embedding Workday.
- Technical and operational skills, including processes, procedures and data analysis, plus excellent HR knowledge.
- Able to collaborate, manage priorities and deliver results; strong communication, stakeholder management and service standards skills.
- Inquisitive approach to questioning and improving existing processes.
