Senior Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping and cleaning operations across the mall.
• Manage and monitor an approximately 250-person housekeeping team.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout the mall.
• Oversee housekeeping operations for approximately 42 washrooms.
• Manage cleaning in high-traffic areas with approximately 130,000 visitors.
• Plan manpower deployment, shifts, cleaning assignments, and staff allocation.
• Conduct inspections of public areas, washrooms, food courts, corridors, entrances, and common facilities.
• Maintain required washroom hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout operating hours.
• Monitor staff performance, attendance, grooming, discipline, and productivity.
• Coordinate with supervisors, team leaders, mall management, and other departments.
• Handle customer complaints and housekeeping-related service issues promptly and professionally.
• Control the proper use and availability of cleaning materials, chemicals, machinery, and equipment.

Operations and Compliance

• Monitor cleaning schedules and ensure planned tasks are completed on time.
• Prepare daily operational reports and update management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, mall procedures, health and safety requirements, and housekeeping standards.
• Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain consistent service quality.
• Take immediate corrective action when cleanliness or service standards fall below expectations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of housekeeping experience.
• Experience in a large shopping mall or similar high-footfall facility is preferred.
• Proven experience managing a large housekeeping workforce, preferably 200 or more employees.
• Strong mall housekeeping and public-area-cleaning experience.
• Experience handling numerous washrooms and high visitor footfall.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, machinery, hygiene standards, and housekeeping practices.
• Strong manpower-planning, team-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• UAE or GCC experience in mall or large commercial-facility housekeeping is preferred.

Preferred Profile

• Hands-on experience in large malls, shopping centres, hypermarkets, airports, hospitals, or other high-footfall facilities is preferred.

Pay

• Pay: AED 3,000 to AED 4,000 per month.
