Position Overview
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team to ensure that all rooms, Office’s, public areas, and facilities are cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
This role involves leading, training, and motivating housekeeping staff while maintaining efficient schedules, managing supplies, and delivering excellent service to clients.
The role also supports operational coordination with site activities and ensures that housekeeping services are delivered in line with contractual requirements and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff (room attendants, housepersons, and public area cleaners).
- Assign cleaning tasks, rooms, and sections to team members and adjust schedules as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of all rooms, Office’s, public areas, and facilities, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and compliance with standards.
- Train new and existing staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, use of equipment, and company standards.
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, coaching, and motivation to maintain high productivity and quality.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Schedule staff shifts, handle absences, and arrange replacements to ensure adequate coverage.
- Address and resolve clints complaints or issues related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
- Enforce safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies; ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or needed repairs to the appropriate department and follow up when required.
- Assist with deep cleaning, special projects, or hands-on cleaning when required.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, occupancy, and supply usage for management.
- Support documentation and record-keeping of housekeeping activities to ensure alignment with operational reporting and service verification requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
- **Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in**
Housekeeping
- Management, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred).
- **Minimum 5–7 years of experience in housekeeping and hospitality operations.**
- **Proven supervisory or senior supervisory experience within large facilities or projects.**
- **Experience working in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.**
- **Strong understanding of hygiene standards, service protocols, and soft services operations.**
