The role calls for strong communication skills and substantial Node.js and React experience.
Job duties
- Design and develop backend code using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Develop reusable React components and new application pages.
- Coach and support junior team members; review work and help ensure quality.
- Create unit tests and maintain test coverage thresholds.
- Communicate with product, UX, and QA team members; participate in team activities and Agile ceremonies.
- Manage AWS resources safely and cost-effectively.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of web application development experience.
- At least 3 years of Node.js and TypeScript experience and 2 years of React and Redux experience.
- Experience designing and developing asynchronous processes using queues.
- Proficiency in debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles, and refactoring.
- Self-motivation, drive, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills.
Desirable experience
- AWS services experience, including Lambda, S3, ECS, CloudFormation, and IAM, is desirable but not required.
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock and LLMs is desirable.
- Financial services experience, especially in real assets or property management, is desirable.
