Join the Account Integrity team as a senior full-stack engineer, working on complex adversarial problems to protect customers.
The team works to prevent financial crime, scams and account takeovers through scalable fraud-prevention controls and detection capabilities.
What you'll do
- Improve financial-crime prevention infrastructure and build customer-facing controls.
- Build and refine controls to protect customer accounts from takeovers.
- Partner with Product and Design on convenient customer-facing controls and with data scientists and analysts on detection improvements.
- Own projects end to end, contributing to customer security, increased automation and product growth.
What you need
- Professional experience with Java or other JVM-based languages and the Spring framework.
- Experience building and designing scalable, high-traffic web applications; React-based frontend applications and JavaScript or TypeScript are indicated as ideal.
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems and concurrent systems.
- Strong product mindset, accountability and ability to drive projects independently with customer-focused, data-driven decisions.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, query optimisation and resilient schema design.
- Strong engineering fundamentals, problem-solving skills and commitment to TDD and coding best practices.
- Excellent communication across Product, Data Science and Investigations teams.
- Experience mentoring and growing more junior engineers.
- Machine-learning lifecycle familiarity, including data pipelines, feature engineering and production deployment, is a plus.
