Senior Full Stack Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement scalable, performant, secure full-stack applications.
• Build with React, Next.js, Node.js, and Java/Spring Boot, including microservices and BFF layers.
• Integrate REST APIs, Kafka or Google Pub/Sub, and multiple bank systems.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineers using Agile methodologies.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, deployment strategies, and code reviews.
• Apply secure API design, encryption, and identity management practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with modern frameworks and architectures.
• Experience with Agile practices and modern SDLC.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; ability to work effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Technical skills

• Front end: React.js, Next.js, Redux, Webpack, JavaScript ES6+, and TypeScript.
• Back end: Node.js, Java 8+, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
• Microservices, service-oriented architecture, and BFF patterns; Kafka and Google Pub/Sub.
• Google Cloud: Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and IAM.
• Microsoft Azure: App Services, Key Vault, Azure SQL, and Event Hub.
• DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Security: SSL/TLS, OAuth2, JWT, Fortify, and BlackDuck; monitoring with Splunk, Dynatrace, or equivalent.
• Databases: SQL, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and MongoDB.
